Birth chart questions

Is the birth chart really free?
Yes. The chart wheel, the full table of positions, aspects, and the Sun, Moon and Rising explanations are free and don’t need a card. Premium adds detailed readings and the 30-day calendar.
What if I don’t know my birth time?
Tick “I don’t know my birth time”. We calculate planet positions for your birth date, show the range the Moon covered that day, and leave out the Ascendant, Midheaven and houses because they depend on the exact time.
Which zodiac and house system do you use?
Western tropical zodiac with geocentric positions, and Whole Sign houses when your birth time is known. The Ascendant and Midheaven degrees are calculated exactly and shown separately.
How accurate are the positions?
Positions come from Astronomy Engine. In our tests against NASA/JPL Horizons for 100 reference positions between 1905 and 2088, every planet was within about one arcminute.
